The Antípodas Lab PHASE 2 begins in Toulouse
From June 14th to 18th, we will travel to Toulouse to continue the Antípodas Lab. This work, initiated in 2022 and in partnership with the circus center La Granerie, is made possible by the sponsorship of the Galician Agency of Cultural Industries of the Xunta de Galicia. The Antípodas Lab explores the possibility that the creative processes of circus artists can have an orientation in the innovation processes of companies.
The Galician expedition is composed of artists Antón Coucheiro, Paula Quintas, Johana Hess, Aitor Garuz, and Pablo Reboleiro, and the companies Codery and Habitat Social S.C.G.
Here is the schedule:
June 13th: Arrival of Galician artists and speakers.
June 14th: Collective (open) workshop on laboratory issues and problems.
June 15th and 16th: Research laboratory for the artists’ sections.
June 17th-18th: Workshops for artists and entrepreneurs.
Previous Events:
In the coming days, we will head to Colombia to participate in the International Theatre Festival of Manizales, where we will perform at the Teatro de los Fundadores on October 28th at 7 p.m. On the 31st, we will travel to Medellín as an extension of the FIT at the Theatre and Music Festival COMFAMA San Ignacio. The performance will also take place at 7 p.m. in the Patio Teatro Claustro.
These performances will take place thanks to a cultural cooperation program sponsored by the Axencia Galega das Industrias Culturais, in which, in addition to our company, other Galician companies such as Elefante Elegante, Teatro Ainé, Ibuprofeno Teatro, and Cía Fran Sieira will also be present. We wish them all the best of luck and success on this adventure in the American continent.
Outside of this initiative, on November 8th, we will land in Recife to participate in the Circus Festival of Brazil, thus completing our journey through the American lands.
