I EDITION D10! Circus Training and Innovation Meeting

Pistacatro, the only production company in size and proposal of shows linked to circus arts in Galicia, turns 10 years old and decides to spend this anniversary not on the stage, but propitiating the collective underpinning of the Circus in Galicia in the various laboratoarios raised in what is already the I Edition of the D10! Meeting of Training and Innovation in Circus

Programme (developed between the 22nd and 29th of November 2016):

– Worshop on IMPROPABLE CHALLENGES for the Circus, given by Roberto Gómez de la Iglesia, from Conexiones Improbables. 22nd and 23rd November.
Roberto Gómez de la Iglesia is an expert in Creative Economy, director of C2+i, Culture, Communication, Innovation and of the artistic and cultural open innovation platform “Conexiones Improbables: Hibridar para Innovar”.

– Circus Directing Laboratory, with Theodor Román. 26th and 27th November.
Laboratory aimed at improving the training of professionals dedicated to the direction of circus shows, with the invitation of circus and stage directors interested in working in this field.
Theor Román develops his work in various fields but, above all, he links stage practices, poetry and new media. His research focuses on consciousness, the corporeality of the word, performativity and digital culture.

– Annual meeting of the State Professional Circus Associations. 28th and 29th November.
Compostela hosts, within the framework of the 1st Edition of D10, the annual meeting that has been held for the work of the State and Professional Circus Associations.
Participants: MADPAC (Professional Circus Association of Madrid), APCC (Professional Circus Association of Catalonia), ACA (Association of Circus Professionals of Andalusia), APCV (Association of Circus Professionals of Valencia) and APCG (Association of Circus Professionals of Galicia).
